Energy Analysis

We are experienced in surveying buildings, simulating building performance, writing retrofit improvement reports, providing Energy Statements and generating BRUKLs and EPC.
Thermal Modelling
Need to demonstrate your design has good internal daylight levels, doesn’t overshadow the neighbours and is not at risk of overheating? Using IES Virtual Environment 3D modelling, we can dynamically simulate your building design, advise on improvements and provide planning-friendly reports to demonstrate the results.
BREEAM Support
Want to be on top of BREEAM by achieving the early stage reporting credits? We can help by providing reports for Ene04 Passive Design Analysis, Ene04 Low and Zero Carbon Feasibility Study, Wst05 Adaptation to Climate Change, Hea01 Daylighting, Hea04 Thermal Modelling, Hea04 Design for Future Thermal Comfort, Mat03 Sustainable Procurement Plan and Ene01 BRUKL calculations to inform the early stage design and bank some of the BREEAM credits.
About Me
Judy is a Chartered Engineer, a Low Carbon Consultant, Non-domestic Energy Assessor, BREEAM Assessor and Fitwel Ambassador. Delivering a full range of building sustainability services, she has extensive experience working with new and existing buildings from early design stage right through to retrofit of listed buildings.
Judy has over 20 years’ experience in a range of sustainability solutions including energy and sustainability statements for planning, dynamic simulation modelling for part L, passive design analysis, LZC feasibility, overheating for Part O and TM52, daylight and overshadowing assessments, BB101 ventilation analysis for schools and providing Energy Performance Certificates and Display Energy Certificates for non-domestic buildings.
She has a solutions-based approach to supporting customer’s requirements, with focus and attention to detail.

Vine Street London – Part L Dynamic Simulation modelling for the development of 600 student flats, offices, commercial units and basement exhibition space built around the Roman wall.
Norfolk County Council – Carbon reduction program surveying 144 museums, libraries, fire stations, offices and community centres, modelling energy and providing retrofit improvement reports.
Waterworks Road, Eastbourne – Sustainability Statement and Part O thermal modelling for proposal for 85 new apartments on former dairy site.
Nottingham Ingenuity Centre – Provided a Display Energy Certificate (DEC) for this innovative university building.
